The Smart After-School Project: Hutsul Ornament Will Become the Basis for Educational Materials

Hutsul ornament will become the foundation for studying such disciplines as art, English, and financial literacy. This was discussed during the next working meeting of the team of the Scientific Center "Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", which implements the project "Smart Out-of-School".

During the meeting, the participants summed up the previous stages of the project's implementation and determined further steps in its development. The main attention was focused on expanding educational content, and also discussed approaches to integrating modern digital tools into the educational process and planned the next stages of work.

The "Smart Out-of-School" team is working on developing interdisciplinary educational materials in which Hutsul ornament will become the basis for studying various disciplines. Project specialists discussed approaches to integrating elements of intangible cultural heritage into teaching art, English, and financial literacy. This format will allow combining modern educational methods with the popularization of Ukrainian cultural heritage. As a result, learning will become more meaningful, practical, and interesting.
