Arochky (Arches)
An ornamental motif made up of semicircles or semicircles on vertical columns that resemble full-centred arches.
In Hutsul ornamentation, especially in carving, ‘arches’ and ‘small arches’ are used as border motifs in the design of decorative plates or as elements of other motifs with emphasis on the architectonics.
