Shyshky (Pine Cones)
A border ornamental motif made of rhythmically arranged oval elements with pointed ends and crosshatching (‘ilchate pysmo’). The name comes from the resemblance to spruce[A1] cones. The motif is mostly used in wood carving and woodburning.
