Kohutyky (Little Roosters)
An ornamental motif consisting of two connected semicircles that somewhat resemble the silhouettes of small roosters (‘kohutyky’).
It can be seen in wood carving and inlays. It is used in combination with other elements and motifs and can be the basis for the formation of curved patterns such as ‘zmiika’ (snake), ‘tsyhanska dorizhka’ (gypsy path), etc.
