Skrynky (Little Boxes)
A centerpiece motif consisting of upright or slanting squares (rhombuses) with rectangles adjacent to their four corners. Centres of the squares and rectangles may be filled with circles and other elements. The motif resembles an open chest, hence the name. It is used mainly in inlay designs.
