Merezka (pryama) (Straight Lace)
An ornamental motif made up of straight lines that intersect to form a diamond-shaped or square grid resembling a lace. The motif can be seen in flat carving (engraving), metal inlay, woodburning, metal chasing, and pysanka (Easter egg) designs.
