A centerpiece rosette-type motif based on a circle (ring) element. There are several types of this motif, namely: a circle in the centre with a dot; several concentric circles with a ring, or a ring with a dot in the middle; concentric circles with “jags” or “rays” arranged around the perimeter; circles with spikes (straight or arched) in the centre. The motif is used in wood carving, inlay designs, woodburning, metal chasing, and pysanka (Easter egg) design. See also kruzhaltsia, kochela motifs.

PNG is a file format for storing bitmap images. Raster images consist of pixels, each of which has its own color. PNG supports transparency and compression without loss of quality.
