Embroidered Christmas Tree Decoration. Starflower from a Hutsul Keptar (sleeveless fur coat)

There are such simple and at the same time expressive patterns that you can't help but notice. They seem to say – embroider me! This one captivated me at first sight and the idea of an embroidered Christmas tree decoration haunted me until I embroidered it. To make a Christmas decoration, I took felt, which is available in different colours and thicknesses – choose to your liking. This pattern is easy to embroider on any fabric – from a uniform weave where it is easy to count the threads, – to thick linen or cloth.
